True entrepreneurs are doers and dreamers...

Neha Arora – The word entrepreneur is not just a word, it’s a journey a long one, a difficult one, a personal one, and a special one. It comes with sleepless nights because life is just too fast and time spent sleeping is just time not spent working and bettering oneself and their brand. A lot of these sleepless nights are the reason I am where I am today and if I had to do it again, I would gladly.

I think deep inside every future entrepreneur knows that they want to start a business at one point or the other. I too knew that I wanted to start a business. Even when I was in other professions when I was teaching at a college, I knew that I belonged somewhere else. Starting a business is what I was meant to do. It’s a dream that looks easy from the outside, but it’s a rollercoaster of a ride. The work pressure is unreal, it’s a never-ending responsibility. When most of the work is to be done from home, as is the new norm, there are no defined hours. People reach out at the most random hours, and you have to be available. It’s a 24/7 job that people often don’t understand or underestimate.

The pressure of every entrepreneurial venture takes a toll on the person working behind the scenes but to be able to separate oneself from their business and to stay optimistic is the true challenge. To not let challenges and failures demotivate and discredit other successes and to try to look at the positives in every situation, is what defines an entrepreneur. Consistency is very important, as I said not letting failure dictate future actions is what makes or breaks an entrepreneur. If I had given up because of my failures, I would have never worked till here, till today and I would have never had my successes. Hard work and determination make entrepreneurship a journey truly worth taking.
