Sankalp Solanki - The Entrepreneurs of India Magazine Edition 44

ree

The founder of MyScaai Bharat Construction, Sankalp Solanki, grew up watching families struggle to build their dream homes. Prices kept rising, contractors were unreliable, and timelines always stretched endlessly. He saw people lose not just their money but also their faith in the process. Years later, while working in the technology sector, that early frustration turned into a question that refused to leave him. Why was it easier to buy a phone online than to build a house in one’s own city? That single thought planted the seed for something much larger.

When he started MyScaai Bharat, Sankalp wanted to bring transparency and structure into a space long known for confusion and mistrust. The company introduced India’s first Price Locking Model, where construction costs are fixed before work begins, removing budget shocks that often trouble homeowners. From that foundation, MyScaai Bharat grew into a full-service homebuilding brand that brings together architecture, interiors, automation, amenities, and support under one roof. “For me, it’s not just a business,” Sankalp says. “It’s a mission to make homebuilding a dignified experience for every Indian family.”

Sankalp’s journey did not begin with blueprints or corporate plans. It began with the values of honesty, patience, and hard work that he inherited from his farmer roots. After completing his degree in Computer Science, he spent several years in the tech industry, learning how digital systems can simplify complexity. But he wanted to do something tangible, something that touched everyday life. When he saw families around him still struggling with unpredictable costs and poor quality, he realized his purpose was to merge technology with ethics. That decision gave birth to MyScaai Bharat Construction Pvt. Ltd., built on three non-negotiables: transparency, accountability, and fixed-cost building.

The name itself carries deep meaning. “My” stands for ownership, that personal pride every homeowner feels. “Scaai” represents the company’s five pillars: Support, Construction, Amenities, Automation, and Interiors. And “Bharat” brings it all back to the soil where Sankalp’s journey began. It reminds him of rural values and the idea that quality housing should not be a privilege reserved for a few but a right for every Indian family. Together, these words form a name that bridges tradition and modernity, emotion and intelligence.

MyScaai Bharat provides complete end-to-end construction services. From architectural design and structural work to smart home automation, interiors, and lifestyle amenities, every stage is handled in-house. The company’s app gives clients real-time visibility into their projects so that updates, budgets, and materials are all tracked transparently. This digital clarity combined with human connection ensures that families get not just the home they want but the experience they deserve.

Sankalp enjoys projects that tell a story, homes that express the personality of those who live in them. Whether it is a quiet farmhouse, a hill-view villa, or a smart home in a growing city, he looks for emotional depth in every design. “The best homes are the ones where light, air, and emotion move freely,” he says. For him, luxury is not about excess but about harmony, where technology, beauty, and comfort coexist naturally.

The road to success was far from smooth. When Sankalp introduced the idea of fixed-cost construction, many dismissed it. Vendors resisted, clients hesitated, and competitors questioned the model. Scaling up without losing quality became another big test. There were times when progress slowed, systems faltered, and patience was tested. But his upbringing taught him resilience, the same patience a farmer has when waiting for his crop to grow. Over time, those challenges became stepping stones that shaped the company’s identity.

At the heart of MyScaai Bharat’s growth is its team culture, built around trust, ownership, and shared purpose. The organization operates with a flat structure where every voice matters, from site engineers to senior designers. Ideas are encouraged, mistakes are treated as lessons, and collaboration replaces hierarchy. “We are like a family that builds together,” Sankalp says with quiet pride.

As he looks to the future, his focus is on scaling responsibly. The company aims to expand into more than 500 cities across India, especially Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions where demand is high and reliability is scarce. Smart home technology, green building materials, and sustainable design will continue to play a growing role in their projects. Sankalp also wants to create social impact by training rural youth in construction trades and empowering them with skills for a modern industry.

When asked what advice he would give young entrepreneurs, his answer is simple: start with purpose, not perfection. He believes patience and integrity will take you further than any shortcut ever could. “Don’t wait for the right time,” he says. “Build it, one honest step at a time.”
