Mehak Kaur- The Entrepreneurs of India Magazine

Mehak never imagined that her journey as a young doctor would slowly grow into a digital community that spans across countries. She began sharing simple videos about her move from India to the United Kingdom, speaking about the small wins and setbacks she faced as a first generation doctor abroad. Nothing about it was planned. She often says that it started as a way to share whatever she was learning with others trying to walk the same path. Over time her audience expanded and the conversations that began in short messages gradually turned into real life events filled with people who had been following her journey for months.

Her path in the creator world was anything but familiar in the beginning. She had no idea what usage rights meant or what brands expected during partnerships. She learned those things through trial and error and a few painful mistakes. Even so she stayed firm about handling her own negotiations because she wanted to understand every part of the business herself. She often advises young creators to study every deal closely because no two partnerships are the same and each one teaches something new.

Mehak speaks openly about how content only works when the creator genuinely enjoys the process. She says, “If you do not love what you are making, you will lose interest and burn out very fast.” That belief kept her consistent through long months when her audience was small and her resources were limited.

It also gave her direction as she stepped away from clinical medicine and shaped her channel around self development and her non linear career path. Many young women follow her for that reason. She reminds them that life can be unpredictable and still filled with possibility. Her message is simple. We do not get to choose every chapter, but we always get to choose how we respond.

Her rise came with its own challenges. While most people were warm and kind, the small fraction of hate online stayed on her mind longer than she expected. As someone who spent years trying to keep everyone happy, that one percent felt heavier than the rest. Therapy helped her find steadiness again. She also built stronger boundaries with social media so she stayed focused on the part of it that brings growth instead of falling into long hours of scrolling.

Behind the scenes her circle played a huge part in keeping her grounded. She speaks fondly of her childhood friends, her family, and especially her younger brother. Yet the deepest credit goes to her partner Rishabh. “He believed in me when I had zero followers,” she says. He spent his days off helping her film even when there was barely any money coming in. She often mentions that without him there would be no Glow and Grow with Mehak and that his faith became the anchor she leaned on during tough phases.

Her content today brings together young professionals, students, and women looking for clarity about their own path. She tries to create a small corner of the internet where people feel seen and encouraged to try again. She hopes that her story reminds others that their dreams can grow from very ordinary starting points.

For anyone trying to build something of their own, Mehak keeps her advice simple. “Treat it like your second job and stop waiting for perfect numbers or perfect gear. Just start.”
