Naresh Balagani is a B.Tech student at IIIT Naya Raipur who has always been fascinated by how apps and online platforms can solve real world problems. His interest in technology naturally pushed him toward entrepreneurship at a young age as he wanted to build something impactful rather than following a traditional career path. The inspiration for his business, Hackoverse Edu, came from seeing students struggle with the confusion of college decisions and a lack of honest guidance. He noticed a massive gap between the official marketing of universities and the actual ground reality experienced by students.
He built a platform where aspirants can talk directly to seniors and experts to get verified insights and make informed choices. One of the biggest hurdles was building trust and developing the app while simultaneously managing his own academic responsibilities. Getting initial users and convincing people of the value of paid guidance required consistent belief in his idea. He takes pride in having launched the app on the Play Store as a student and building a complete ecosystem that includes mentorship services and social media content.

Hackoverse Edu has evolved from a simple idea into a platform with features like college predictors and expert calls. Naresh's vision for the future involves launching podcasts with college directors and building a bridge between students and recruiters to make hiring more transparent. "Consistency matters more than motivation," he believes, noting that his core pillars for staying ahead are content and community. The business aims to reduce misinformation in the admission process, which directly impacts the future of thousands of students.
By connecting aspirants with real students, the platform provides "unfiltered" information about campus culture and placement stats. It also offers an "earn while you learn" model for current students who share their expertise. Naresh uses YouTube to provide virtual college tours and multilingual reviews to reach students across different regions. He advises others to start early and not to wait for perfection, as every mistake teaches something valuable. His goal is to ensure no student enters a college campus with false expectations.
