Dr. Abhishek Agarwal's Journey as an Entrepreneur and Author

Dr. Abhishek Agarwal is an Entrepreneur, Strategic Advisor, Author, Film Writer, Educator, Business & Life Coach, Mental Health Advocate, and Founder of Being Me AV and LRA Unified Group. For over 13 years, he has been building businesses, mentoring entrepreneurs, advising organizations and government initiatives, and creating platforms dedicated to meaningful transformation across Education, Entrepreneurship, and Entertainment.

Born in Siliguri, the gateway to Northeast India nestled in the foothills of Darjeeling, and professionally shaped in Bangalore, Dr. Agarwal's journey is a testament to vision, resilience, and reinvention. As he often says, "Siliguri is the city where I grew up; Bangalore is the city that grew me up."

Alongside entrepreneurship, Abhishek evolved into a Business Consultant, Strategic Advisor, Life Coach, Mental Health Advocate, Author, Film Writer, Mentor, and Educator. Trained under renowned mentors including Dr. Vivek Bindra and Jay Shetty, he has impacted thousands of entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and individuals through coaching, consulting, education, and mentorship. 

Through Being Me AV Advisory, he provides strategic advisory services to entrepreneurs, family businesses, institutions, and government initiatives while advocating mental well-being, resilience, and purposeful leadership as essential pillars of sustainable success. 

Raised in a traditional business family, entrepreneurship was woven into his upbringing. While many of his peers aspired to become doctors, engineers, chartered accountants and lawyers, Abhishek had already decided during his school years that he would build businesses of his own. What fascinated him was not inherited wealth, but the freedom to create, solve problems, and leave behind a meaningful legacy.

Over the last 13+ years, he started with footwear arbitraging, built and operated ventures across consumer electronics, commercial solutions, project management consultancy, consulting, coaching, education, food and beverage. As Founder of LRA Unified Group and Project Babu, he championed integrated, turnkey solutions that simplified complex business challenges for clients across India and the Kingdom of Bhutan. His entrepreneurial journey, however, was not without adversity. The Covid-19 pandemic led to the closure of one of his largest businesses, forcing him to rebuild from the ground up. Rather than viewing failure as an ending, he treated it as education in disguise—an experience that strengthened his strategic thinking, resilience, and purpose.

His contributions have also led to appointments and recognitions across entrepreneurship, education, and leadership, including being conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Business Management. His writing journey led to published books, international recognition, and a screenplay nomination at Film Bazaar during the International Film Festival of India. Today, through Being Me AV Writings, he creates thought-provoking books, stories for films and intellectual content; through Being Me AV Advisory, he delivers strategic guidance and transformational coaching; and through the upcoming Being Me Institute and Bombay Films, he is building an ecosystem at the intersection of Education, Entrepreneurship, and Entertainment—creating content, learning experiences, and stories designed to inform, inspire, and transform.

At his core, Dr. Agarwal's mission remains simple yet profound: to create meaningful impact, empower individuals to realise their potential, and leave the world better than he found it. Beyond the titles of entrepreneur, strategic advisor, coach, author, film writer, educator, or filmmaker, he hopes to be remembered simply as a human being who used his time on earth to create value for others, and inspire meaningful change.
