Sanchita Khare never imagined her 200+ bottle nail polish collection would one day spark a beauty revolution. Growing up in the culturally rich city of Lucknow, her love for detail, grace, and aesthetics was shaped early on. Her professional life was spent in the corporate world, working across strategy and project management, but deep down, she craved something that allowed her to express herself creatively.
What started as a hobby—collecting nail paints and creating DIY tutorials on Instagram—slowly grew into something much bigger. Sanchita says, “It didn’t begin as a business idea. It began with a fascination ~ a love affair with nail colors.” She experimented with press-on nails from home, gifting sets to friends. The response wasn’t just positive—it was transformative. It gave women confidence and joy, and that’s when she realized it wasn’t just a personal fix. She had tapped into something missing in India’s beauty space.

Building Nailorgeous was not smooth sailing. In the early days, she was still working full-time, while managing orders, designing nail sets, and dealing with customers late into the night. Sleep became rare. Trusting someone else with her designs felt even harder. But every single order reminded her—this wasn’t just a side hustle, this was her dream coming to life. Slowly, demand grew, and what began as solo effort started evolving into a brand with two categories: ready-to-wear salon nails, and customized luxury sets including bridal, picture nails, engraved names, and more.
Today, Nailorgeous has styled over 5,000 women in just 7 months. From brides to influencers and college students, her creations have reached every kind of woman—online and offline. The brand’s been featured on platforms like Apna Lucknow, earned 5-star Google ratings, and now sells across Amazon, Flipkart, WhatsApp, and Instagram. One major milestone? Becoming the Official Nail Styling Partner for Voguestar Miss India 2025.
Scaling wasn't just about volume—it was about finding the right people to share the creative load. Nail art requires care and precision, and letting go of control was hard. But Sanchita learned to pause, breathe, and then create again.
From partnering with top colleges like NIFT Mumbai and SRCC Delhi, to onboarding celebrities like Chahat Pandey and Dimple Patel, the journey has turned from passion project to power brand.
She’s now planning to take Nailorgeous global—with international shipping, NGO workshops for specially-abled girls, and collaborations with fashion shows, beauty pageants, and OTT platforms. Her vision is clear: nails should reflect a woman’s story, style, and strength—no matter where she’s from.
She shares: “Start where you are, with what you have—even if that’s just one idea in a small room. If you keep going with heart, the world will take notice.”
