Back in 2014, right after completing his dual MBA in Finance and Marketing, Dr. Chinuu Kwatra found himself slipping into a place he never expected. While his peers were preparing for corporate jobs, Chinuu was battling depression and suicidal thoughts brought on by a deeply personal loss. He attempted to take his life twice. But in those dark moments, it was his mother who became his anchor. She pushed him to do something he always loved—and that small nudge changed everything. He began teaching drawing and dancing at a municipal school nearby. What started off as a simple gesture turned into a lifelong purpose. In the smiles of underprivileged children, he found healing. And over the past 11 years, he’s committed himself to causes bigger than himself—uplifting kids, environmental work, and animal welfare. That’s how Khushiyaan Foundation came to life.
Dr. Kwatra often says, “Insaan Bano.”. Because somewhere along the way, he believes, people forget what it really means. From personal setbacks, he picked up the lesson that no one else can define your journey. Stop listening to the noise outside, and listen to your inner calling. It’s that conviction that’s carried him through not just personal storms, but also the many social hurdles thrown his way. One such hurdle was the mockery he faced when starting beach cleanup drives. People laughed. Some called him “Kachrewala.” But instead of breaking, he focused on consistency. Slowly, things shifted. The same people who once ridiculed his work started calling for help. Impact speaks louder than criticism, and he knew that staying quiet and working would eventually make the noise vanish.
Running an NGO isn’t easy. And it certainly doesn’t pay like a corporate job. But the satisfaction? It’s worth more than money. That’s what drives him. Most people assume that NGOs automatically attract funds, but Chinuu insists that it’s a myth. Real work begins without any funding. His team executes real projects and builds trust with real case studies. That’s how Khushiyaan Foundation sustains itself and scales.

Resources were never abundant. In fact, they were barely there. He made use of what was available—his own skills, people around him, and most importantly, time. The journey began with zero money but full passion. That same energy led to multiple ventures that help him support both his family and his cause. From stock market investments to influencer branding to PR work, everything flows back to fund the mission of uplifting lives.
At the middle of his mission is the belief that business isn’t just about profits or growth charts. It’s about the ripple effect of actions. Whether it’s helping a woman start her own small business, saving stray animals, or planting trees in neglected spaces—each effort adds up. Impact beats outcome every time. The uniqueness of his work doesn’t lie in flashy campaigns or awards. It lies in its simplicity and grit. From empowering underprivileged women to creating sustainable community models, the work at Khushiyaan Foundation is raw, real, and grounded. It's not funded by dreams but built on sacrifice, hard work, and belief.
