Ash Ambawat- The Entrepreneurs of India Magazine

ree

From an ordinary corporate desk, Ash Ambawat stepped away from the world of investment banking, a profession with all the right perks but lacking in excitement for her. In 2017, while still working those regular office hours, she found herself drawn toward content creation after seeing how a few small profiles on Instagram were connecting with real people. At first, she posted simple snapshots, daily routines, travel memories, genuine selfies, nothing fancy.

Somehow it struck a chord, and feedback started coming in. The encouragement she got online turned out to be the spark that gave her the courage to turn her passion project into a profession. Just a year later, Ash quit her job and fully committed to becoming a digital content creator in fashion and lifestyle. Today, VoguEthics stands as a testament to choosing authenticity and following your own creative path.

Like most journeys, Ash’s path has been shaped by missteps. One of her earliest challenges was the struggle to set boundaries. In her words, she found herself saying yes to every offer and project, only to end up overwhelmed and sometimes heading off course. Her advice for new creators: avoid the urge to do everything just to be seen. Pick your lane, stay committed to a single niche, and make yourself an expert there. Ash believes that the audience finds those who stay true and consistent.

The world around a creator isn’t always as supportive or understanding as it might seem. Ash noticed early that some people would cheer her on unconditionally, while others doubted her and kept her from feeling confident. Being selective about work relationships and collaborators has become one of her keys to staying focused and creative. In her experience, the people you allow into your creative space can lift you up or gradually wear you down. For her, that lesson has stuck.

Behind her journey stands a family willing to support her decisions, even if it meant leaving a steady paycheck behind. Ash’s family never brushed off her work as just playing online. Instead, they gave her respect and patience, celebrated every small milestone, and provided the trust an artist needs to step outside her comfort zone.

Emotional support, she says, is worth much more than expensive gear or big investments at the beginning. Families these days should recognize that content creation needs discipline, real skills, and a lot of energy. Whether it is a course, encouragement, or the occasional investment in better gear, their patience and genuine interest can help young creators thrive.

Ash started out with only the basics, a modest phone camera and free editing tools. Natural light made up the rest of her setup. Despite missing out on high-end equipment, her dedication and willingness to work with what she had paid off. As her content gained momentum, she upgraded step by step, better tools replaced old ones, but she never saw the lack of resources as a reason to postpone starting. In her experience, it is the energy and consistency you bring that carry a brand forward, not the gear.

Burnout has presented a real obstacle. The temptation to run at full speed without a break left Ash feeling drained more than once. Overworking weekends, skipping rest for deadlines, and the pressure of constant content became unsustainable. She learned, sometimes the hard way, that regular breaks and self-care are not indulgences, but essentials. Reconnecting with herself through dancing, watching her favorite films, baking, or even singing out loud brought back her energy and creativity. That time away from screens gave her the boost to keep going and renewed her love for content creation.

The focus of VoguEthics is blending aspiration with relatability, especially in the fashion and lifestyle space. Ash aims to offer content that inspires while being applicable for her audience. Her stories are crafted not just to showcase products but to offer authentic and visually uplifting takes on daily life. For her, success means when a viewer walks away with an idea they actually try or a perspective that feels real.Ownership stands out as the most appealing part of her profession. Unlike corporate life where you often play a small piece in someone else’s plan, here Ash steers the entire ship. From brainstorming to posting, she controls the vision, pacing, and direction. Rapid experiments, audience interaction, and swift pivots are all possible on her own schedule. Audience reactions, brand deals, and a tight follower community give her instant feedback and a sense of progress that desk jobs never offered.

Ash is always open to dialogue with her community. She welcomes emails at voguethics@gmail.com and is readily available on Instagram DMs (@VoguEthics_Official), always happy to exchange thoughts, feedback, and inspiration.

Her stand-out advice, the lesson etched into her journey: do not hang around for the right moment to begin. Build with whatever is in your hands today. So many dreams fade away because people keep waiting to get started. The momentum you bring will take you further than waiting for that perfect start ever could.
