Nyayavani National (Virtual) Moot Court Competition 2025

The Nyayavani National (Virtual) Moot Court Competition 2025 concluded successfully on 23rd November 2025. Organised by Nyayavani Foundation, a Section-8 registered non-profit organisation committed to promoting legal education and pro bono initiatives, in collaboration with Ram Krishna Law Firm & Research Centre, the competition witnessed remarkable participation from law schools across India. A total of 54 teams representing National Law Universities, government colleges, private universities, and other reputed institutions competed in four stages of rounds.


The competition commenced with an opening address by Mr. Deepak Sharma, Founder & Director of Nyayavani Foundation, followed by a welcome message from Adv. Akshay, Co-Founder of Ram Krishna Law Firm & Research Centre.

The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Sanjay Shrikant Jain, a distinguished academician and respected senior faculty member from National Law School of India (Bengaluru) , who addressed the participants on the importance of advocacy, constitutional values, and ethical legal practice.

The Final Round was adjudicated by an eminent bench comprising Adv. Tanya Shree (Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India), Dr. Radhey Shyam Jha (Head, Department of Law, Law College Dehradun), and Dr. Jagadish Halashetty (Senior Advocate, High Court of Karnataka), who evaluated the finalists on research, structure, clarity, responsiveness, and courtroom etiquette.


The Champions of Justice Award was secured by the team from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Trivandrum, comprising Ananthan V, Arya S, and Nandan GK, who displayed exceptional oral advocacy and analytical depth. The Runner-Up – Defenders of Rights Award was won by the team from KLE Law College, Bengaluru, represented by Alima Azmiya (Speaker 1), Ullas M (Speaker 2), and Anwesha Dubey (Researcher). The Best Researcher Award was presented to Ridhima Vermani from Law College Dehradun, supported by Sakshi Gupta and Vaidehi Sharma, for their outstanding research preparation. The Best Memorial Award was awarded to the team from Saveetha School of Law—Sriram Venkittanarayanan, G. Sriram, and B. K. Cyndia—for their comprehensive and well-structured written submissions. The Best Mooter Award was conferred upon Ms. Arya S of Kerala Law Academy Law College for her articulate submissions, clarity, and courtroom confidence.

The event was supported by Falcon Reality, Grewal Farms, Lawctopus, Entrepreneurs of India, and Namakwali as the Gifting Partner, whose contributions significantly strengthened the reach and execution of the competition. A special pre-competition webinar on Moot Court Advocacy & Oral Submissions was conducted by Dr. Aishwarya Singh, further enriching the academic preparation of the participants.


The Valedictory Ceremony was smoothly and gracefully hosted by Ms. Aradhya Anand (Additional Secretary, Nyayavani Foundation) and Ms. Insha Nawaz (Secretary, Nyayavani Foundation) whose efforts ensured an organised and dignified conclusion to the four-day national event.

With distinguished adjudicators, enthusiastic participants, and collaborative support from partner organisations, the Nyayavani National (Virtual) Moot Court Competition 2025 stood as a remarkable celebration of legal scholarship, advocacy, and youth excellence. The Nyayavani Foundation extends its gratitude to all those who contributed to making this event a resounding success and looks forward to hosting more impactful academic platforms in the future.
