Gurumaa has spent more than 22 years encouraging people to rethink the way they care for their health. Born in Akola, Maharashtra, and now based in Nashik, she combined her B.Com education with a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences to build a career as a motivational speaker and yoga guru. Over the years, one concern kept appearing in every family she met. People had become dependent on medicines even for small health issues. That observation inspired her to spread awareness about healthy living and a medicine-free lifestyle built on natural healing, disciplined habits, and preventive care.
With that purpose, she founded Nirvana Naturopathy & Retreat Hospital in 2014 at Igatpuri, Nashik. The NABH accredited residential wellness centre helps people recover through lifestyle changes, detoxification, rejuvenation, yoga, and naturopathy instead of depending only on medication. The centre treats a wide range of lifestyle disorders, including digestive problems, diabetes, thyroid conditions, hormonal imbalance, stress, acidity, arthritis, and weight management. Every program is designed to encourage long term wellness by helping guests understand the connection between daily habits and overall health.

During her years of conducting lifestyle seminars, Gurumaa was regularly invited into homes where she witnessed entire families relying on medicines as part of their everyday routine. Those experiences strengthened her commitment to educating people about natural healing. One of the greatest challenges was convincing individuals to place their trust in nature and adopt healthier routines with patience and consistency. She believes lasting recovery begins when people are willing to change the way they live rather than searching only for quick relief.
Her ability to think ahead and her management skills have guided the growth of the wellness centre. Within her team, she builds trust by staying closely involved, listening carefully, and helping every member overcome personal and professional challenges. She believes people perform their best when they feel heard and valued.
Among her proudest achievements is seeing three generations of families embrace naturopathy with confidence. That growing acceptance has become one of the strongest rewards of her work. Her long term commitment remains focused on helping more people discover that better health is possible through simple lifestyle changes, balanced living, and respect for nature. Her philosophy is captured in one simple line: "Cure in illness, care in wellness."
