Techpreneur Kumar Praveen on Driving Global Innovation with Mytesta Technology

Born to a Farmer Father and a Homemaker Mother, Kumar Praveen was born and raised in Saharsa, a small town in Bihar. Despite various challenges of a small-town upbringing, He made sure to thrive academically, demonstrating a natural aptitude for technology and problem-solving. After completing his B.Tech in Computer Science in 2012, he secured a position at a multinational company, where he gained valuable experience but felt constrained by the corporate environment.

The desire to solve real-world problems through technology inspired him to take the plunge into entrepreneurship. In 2016, he founded Mytesta Technology, a global IT company focused on delivering cutting-edge digital solutions, including mobile application development, website design, and digital marketing. Praveen faced significant challenges, such as finding the right team, securing initial funding, and gaining the trust of clients. "Starting out was tough," he recalls. "Coming from a small town, I had to fight stereotypes and prove my capabilities in a highly competitive industry." However, his persistence and clear vision enabled him to navigate these obstacles successfully.

Today, Mytesta Technology specializes in various impactful applications, including a Farmer-Trader Marketplace, an Online Education app, and a Healthcare platform. The company has also developed a TikTok alternative and a unique social media platform, both of which have gained significant traction. 

Mytesta Technology is now operating in over 25 countries with a turnover of 10 crores. He credited his success to his commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. "We prioritize research and development, ensuring our team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills," he explains. "Staying ahead means embracing new technologies like AI, blockchain, and data analytics."

He believes in giving back to the community as well. Mytesta Technology actively supports mentorship programs to nurture young talent in the tech industry. "Never give up on your dreams.
