"Shubham Khandelwal | Shubham’s Journey of an Organic Egg Producer..."

I have been on a rollercoaster journey filled with highs and lows, but the one thing that has kept me going is my passion for providing quality products to my customers. From the moment I set foot in the industry, I knew that I wanted to create something that was different, something that stood out from the crowd.

The poultry industry is a tough nut to crack, and at 21 years old, I had my work cut out for me. The industry was unorganized and lacked education, which made it even more difficult to convince wholesalers about the quality of our products. But I didn't give up. I embarked on a journey of educating people, one wholesaler at a time. I took our samples from trader to trader, telling them about the use of vegetarian feed and the odourless (foul smell) eggs we produced. I gave out free samples to customers for them to try, and slowly but surely, our product started speaking for itself.

The thrill of creating something from scratch, of building a business and seeing it grow, is what inspired me to become an entrepreneur. Seeing my father build his steel trade from the ground up, I knew that I wanted to follow in his footsteps and create something that provided quality to the customer. And that's exactly what I did.

But my journey didn't end there. I knew that I had to keep improving my product to stay ahead of the competition. We just made an entry into branded eggs and are planning to get into processing eggs into a powder form for easy storage and increased shelf life. Every day, I wake up with new ideas on how we can make our product better.

Looking back, I can proudly say that I have achieved a lot in my entrepreneurial journey. I have been listed as a success story by the Uttar Pradesh Government in the UP Investors Summit, and I am currently advising the government on the UP Poultry development policy.

In conclusion, my message to everyone is to keep working hard for your product and community. The better we make our community, the better will be our society and the quality of life. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint-hearted, but with passion, hard work, and dedication, anything is possible.
