Shruti Shravan Moraskar: Elevating Early Childhood Education

Shruti Shravan Moraskar grew up in Mumbai in a family that deeply valued hard work and independence. Her father, a first generation entrepreneur, taught her the importance of resilience and standing by one's convictions. Although she was initially encouraged toward a secure corporate career, she was inspired to build learning spaces with intention and care. Her realization that the foundational years of education are often neglected by society as "just teaching ABCs" led her to focus on early childhood development.

She founded Hopping Bunnies Preschool & Learning Centre after working in a well known school and seeing how crucial these years are for a child's confidence and emotional strength. Choosing teaching over a higher paying career was a significant challenge, as she faced initial resistance at home and had limited resources starting out. She stood by her belief that quality matters more than numbers, and today, her father has become the co-founder and her strongest supporter. She has been recognized as a top educationalist by a magazine, a milestone she finds deeply meaningful.

The growth of Hopping Bunnies has been organic and thoughtful, focusing on a calm and child centric environment. Shruti has established associations with reputed groups like Witty International and Ryan International, which reflects the growing trust in her approach. "Choose purpose over pressure," she advises, emphasizing that honest work builds trust over time even if it takes a while. Her vision is to change how society views early education, recognizing it as the foundation for all future learning.

She plans to stay ahead by staying deeply connected to the children and refining her methods through constant observation and research. Her play based and activity led environment helps children grow into curious learners, an impact that extends to their families and the wider community. Shruti believes that the hardest work often receives the least recognition, which is exactly why it matters the most. She encourages other entrepreneurs not to rush their growth or compare their journeys to others.
