Safety Behind the Walls: How Bharat Kumar Sanghvi Built SPYKAAR on a Legacy of Trust

Bharat Kumar Sanghvi grew up observing business from close quarters, watching his father handle customers with patience and honesty. Those moments quietly shaped his understanding that business is not just about offices, but about treating even the smallest orders with care. Stepping into entrepreneurship was about taking that legacy further with the same values.  


He believes trust, not just products, builds a company. Watching his father grow a business from seven SKUs taught him that consistency matters more than speed. This stayed with him as he shaped SPYKAAR Wires and Cables into a brand standing for reliability and fair pricing in a market where customers often had to compromise.  


The wires and cables industry is unique because safety is critical yet unseen. Bharat noticed that buyers were often forced to choose between affordability and quality, which became the starting point for SPYKAAR. He wanted a brand that quietly ensured safety in homes and industrial setups without drawing attention to itself.  


From a limited range, SPYKAAR now offers more than 900 SKUs, serving a network of over 1000 dealers across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Bharat often recalls the reminder that these products are part of systems people depend on every day.  


The early phase brought challenges of perception, as moving from trading to an independent brand required time to earn credibility. Phases of slower growth tested his consistency. Certain decisions, like expanding the product range and investing in distribution systems, allowed the company to serve customers with greater speed.  


The introduction of SPYCARE allowed the company to reach a wider, price sensitive audience without compromising on standards. Growth came from consistent effort; Bharat personally ensured smallest dealer requirements were fulfilled without delay. Word of mouth turned into a strong driver as satisfied customers became advocates.  


Risk has been part of the journey, such as investing heavily in inventory and launching SPYCARE. These decisions were backed by clarity on the company's direction. His leadership approach is grounded in accessibility, making sure every team member understands the responsibility attached to products linked to safety.  


Family continues to influence his decisions, with his father's lessons on long term thinking remaining rooted in the company culture. Success is defined by the trust customers place in the brand, whether it's a dealer choosing SPYKAAR or an industrial client depending on it for critical operations.  


Setbacks during expansion highlighted the need to strengthen internal systems before pushing for further growth. The road ahead includes expanding across India while maintaining the safe and reliable foundation built over the years.
