Priyesha Sharadrao Deshmukh wins gold for India in rifle Shooting.



Ms. Priyesha Sharadrao Deshmukh is a profound DEAF. She is a sports shooter registered with ICSD.

She has won 7 Indian National gold medals in handicapped class, 1 Indian National silver medal in open class 1 bronze medal in the 1st World Deaf Shooting Championship 2016 held at Kazan, Russia in her debut.

She was a finalist in the Deaf Olympics 2017 and held the 6th position.

She is holding the Indian National record for the highest score in the handicapped category.

She has been raised by her grandmother since she was in 9th class in 2007.

Pramila Prahladrao Deshmukh's grandmother took care of every aspect of her career.

Etc. Her grandmother was a teacher and recently passed away.


As soon as Priyesh returned to her hotel room she put the medal before the photo of her grandmother and showed her respect with tears in her eyes.


This success is possible only because of her AAJI.
