Born and brought up in Dehradun in a business family, Pooja Narula Sharma has gracefully blended entrepreneurship, education, and literature into a remarkable journey. While successfully running Cryatif Designing, her interior design firm for over 20 years, she has simultaneously nurtured her passion for education, writing, and community building.

A respected educator and influential community leader, Pooja created several popular online parenting and learning facebook communities, including Parenting with Food and Fitness, Indian Parenting & Learning Tribe, She , and Cryatif Designing, collectively reaching more than one million followers. Through these platforms, she continues to inspire families, women, educators, and aspiring professionals across the country.

Her debut book, How to Become an Interior Designer in 90 Days, launched by the AWWA Regional President, became an instant success among homemakers, students, and interior design enthusiasts. Widely appreciated for simplifying the subject, the book is regarded as one of India’s most practical guides covering interior design from A to Z.

Continuing her literary journey, Pooja recently released two poetry collections that beautifully explore the emotional landscape of womanhood. When the Moon Wears Heels, her English poetry collection, captures the dreams, struggles, strength, and silent resilience of women. As she writes, “A woman’s journey is not measured by the battles she wins, but by the dreams she refuses to abandon.”

Her Hindi poetry collection, सहज अनकही, is a heartfelt reflection of emotions, thoughts, and truths that many women carry within but seldom express. Through deeply relatable verses, the book transforms silence into poetry. “हर स्त्री के भीतर एक कहानी और एक कविता साथ-साथ जन्म लेती है,” says Pooja, a belief that resonates throughout the collection.

Her forthcoming books promise to be equally compelling. When Roles Become Stories presents short stories inspired by women from different walks of life and the challenges they overcome. An Army Wife Who Doesn’t Fit In is a humorous yet emotional memoir of her journey from a business-family background into the unique world of the Indian Army. Ink & Soul, a bilingual poetry collection, explores a woman’s emotions, identity, and resistance against systems that often expect her to fit into predefined roles.

For Pooja Narula Sharma, writing is more than a creative pursuit—it is a way of giving words to experiences that often remain unspoken. Whether as an entrepreneur, educator, community builder, or author, she continues to inspire others with a simple yet powerful belief: “Walls can be redesigned in weeks . A heart often takes years .I write for those renovations no architect can see ”
