In 2008, Monish started a blog without knowing how far it would take him. What began as a personal space to share lifestyle and food-related content quickly started attracting readers. Fueled by his love for writing and the internet’s growing pull, the blog gradually evolved into something much bigger — a full-fledged personal brand that today reaches thousands. His journey from casual blogging to becoming one of Mumbai’s well-known fashion and lifestyle influencers is rooted in years of consistency, real storytelling, and adapting with the times.

Beyond social media, Monish has explored another creative path — fiction writing. His first book, Maya: Let Life Unfold, took five years to complete. A mix of romance, crime, and suspense, the novel is a reflection of the storyteller in him. He’s currently working on his second, another crime thriller, aiming for a third-quarter release. Writing books is deeply personal for him, very different from fast-paced digital content, but just as fulfilling. In fashion, Monish believes it’s all about comfort and confidence. He's never been someone to blindly follow trends or wear something just because it’s popular. Instead, he tries to blend his personality into his outfits, creating a style that feels natural. Over the years, he’s worked with a wide range of fashion and lifestyle brands, always careful to maintain a tone that feels true to who he is.
His approach to influencing stands out because of one simple principle: be real. He often says, “Be yourself and keep it real,” and it shows in his content. Audiences today are smart — they know when something is forced. He tries to maintain a balance between brand partnerships and personal posts, and believes that’s one of the reasons his followers stick around. He shares— don’t expect overnight success. “Blogging isn’t a shortcut to fame. It’s a grind,” he says. The industry may look glamorous from the outside, but behind the posts are hours of writing, editing, planning, and pitching. Success comes to those who are consistent, curious, and genuinely interested in building something of their own.
Today, Monish sees content creators playing an even bigger role in how people discover products, trends, and experiences. With user-generated content gaining importance, the line between consumer and creator keeps getting thinner. That means more space for people with authentic voices, fresh ideas, and the will to stick with it when things get tough.
