Mansi Wadhwa - The Entrepreneurs of India Magazine

Mansi Wadhwa’s journey did not begin in the usual way that most people imagine when they hear the words content creator or fitness coach. She often laughs and says she started late. She got married at twenty three, had her daughter soon after, and spent years completely immersed in home and family. When her child was around eight, something inside her shifted and she felt the urge to build a life outside those walls. She first started writing for brands, then she moved into blogging. Fashion came next. And when Covid changed everybody’s life, she found herself pulled into fitness. It caught her interest so deeply that she went on to earn a diploma in it. She also ran her own work in social media for a while and handled coaching side by side. Through all of this, fitness stayed the most constant part of her life since 2019. She jokes that she could probably fill an autobiography with the number of things she has done.

The years taught her one strong lesson. Keep going. Mansi says that challenges shape you into someone stronger and a lot more clear about your next steps. She remembers how early in her journey she did not put herself out there enough. For her, that held her back more than anything else. She now tells younger creators to never hesitate when it comes to asking for work or asking for advice. According to her, hesitation is a silent enemy.

When people ask her about staying steady in this fast digital world, she always says the same thing. Do not cage yourself in some fixed design. She believes that people change fast and attention spans keep shrinking so learning new things with an open mind helps you stay fresh while still being yourself. She often says that balance is not some fancy idea. It works.

Her family had a complicated role in her journey. She says they made her tough. She was not encouraged in the beginning but when they realised she would not drop her path, they quietly stepped aside. Her choices felt very unusual to the older generation she grew up with but she held her ground till everything settled. She shares a simple wish for families today. She wants them to support their childrens dreams without conditions. She says, let them carry a camera everywhere if that is what they love. Do not get irritated. It will pay off.

When she started creating, the space was pretty fresh and she found enough opportunities. Still she felt a little out of place as she was thirty six in a crowd filled with much younger girls. Some things did not feel comfortable for her and that caused a few dips in confidence. Her saving grace was writing and her own maturity. And oddly she still looked very young so that helped. Once fitness entered her life properly, things became smoother and she says this field fits her personality the best.

Her biggest challenge has always been balancing her roles. She is a mother, a homemaker, a coach and a creator. Some days drain every bit of her energy. Clashes at home and work came often and she had to make tough choices. Meditation changed the way she handled these storms. It gave her more calm and made her someone people could count on.

Her work today revolves around staying active and keeping the body and mind alive. She firmly believes that our body is the only thing that travels with us till the end so it deserves priority. She keeps pushing herself with new goals because routine bores her easily. At forty two she stays fit, lively and open to everything that keeps her moving. One of her favourite lines is, the world is a flow state of affairs so move with it.

She sees fitness rising in India as more people wake up to the idea that prevention helps you live better. It makes life richer in every way. And because Instagram has become the place where most people spend their time, it helps her reach more people and share that message. She calls it the current news feed of the world.

For young creators and professionals, she shares one simple sentence. There is enough space for everyone. She adds, you will stand out only through consistency.

Mansi says, no dream is small. And no age is late.
