Kavyal Sedanni - The Entrepreneurs of India Magazine

Kavyal Sedanni’s journey into the world of healing and life coaching didn’t begin with a clear plan or ambition. It started from her own struggles with self-worth, depression, and years of feeling misunderstood. As a child, she was often teased for her surname “Hathi,” which means elephant, and it left scars on her sense of self. At the same time she faced an undiagnosed condition of dyscalculia, which made her battle with numbers throughout school and college. She only discovered this learning difficulty at the age of 32, long after she had already built her career. What people around her saw as “average” or “not capable” became the story she began to believe about herself.Married at the age of 20, she entered a phase of life where emotional and mental challenges grew heavier. She went through undiagnosed depression for nearly four years. The way she describes those days paints a vivid picture of quiet suffering. Sleeping excessively, binge drinking, and hiding her struggles had become her coping mechanisms. In her own words, “I was not living, I was just surviving.” These years were tough, but they became the turning point. She reached out for help and gradually chose to rebuild herself. Instead of letting her pain define her, she used it as the fuel to support others who were going through the same silence she once carried.

Today, she is known as a psycho-spiritual healer, hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner, and life coach with more than fifteen years of experience. Her work is not limited to one practice. She combines hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family constellation, emotional freedom techniques, astrology, tarot, and coaching. This unique blend gives her clients a wider doorway to healing. Whether someone is dealing with anxiety, relationship issues, career confusion, or deep-rooted trauma, her approach is to listen without judgment and then guide them to face the root cause.

She often talks about how beliefs form the core of human struggles. A thought like “I am not good enough” may seem small, but it can quietly control careers, marriages, friendships, and confidence. Breaking these beliefs has become her life’s mission. She has helped students choosing the right courses, parents learning conscious parenting, couples rebuilding trust, and professionals stuck in self-doubt. Her programs are not confined to therapy rooms. She has worked with corporate teams, conducted mental health awareness workshops, and designed courses for personal mastery. For her, healing is not about just overcoming pain but creating new ways of living.

Kavyal Sedanni’s reach has also extended into the media. She has been featured by Doordarshan and Oprah Winfrey’s platform, which gave her recognition beyond her circle. Yet she insists that the real reward is when someone messages her months later saying that they can finally sleep peacefully or that they no longer feel trapped by their thoughts. These are the results that keep her rooted in her purpose. Her guided audio sessions on stress, wealth, confidence, and relationships are popular among clients who prefer to learn and heal at their own pace.

The challenges she faced in her younger years continue to influence the way she speaks with people. When she meets a student struggling academically, she remembers her own fight with numbers. When she hears someone describe feeling invisible, she remembers the times she felt mocked and left out. She doesn’t approach healing with a textbook answer but with empathy shaped by her own past. This is what gives her an edge in the crowded world of coaches and wellness experts. She is not teaching theories, she is teaching survival and renewal.

Her story also sheds light on how mental health in India is often brushed aside. For years, she did not know she was living with depression. Family and friends saw her as lazy or careless, notrealizing the depth of her suffering. This lack of awareness is what she wants to change. She speaks openly about mental health, especially for women who may not have anyone to share their struggles with. By normalizing conversations about therapy and healing, she is slowly breaking the old stigma around seeking help.

Her vision is clear. She wants to impact at least a million lives by helping people release limiting beliefs and step into a better version of themselves. The number may sound big, but she believes every workshop, every counseling session, every video she shares on social media contributes to this mission. For her, it is not about fame or recognition, it is about giving people what she once needed most, a reminder that they are not alone and they are capable of more than they think.

The journey of Kavyal Sedanni is a reminder that personal battles often hide the seeds of greater purpose. From a young girl teased in school to a woman carrying the weight of depression, and finally to a professional guiding thousands, her path has been anything but easy. Yet in every difficulty, she found a lesson and in every wound, a doorway to growth. Today, when people come to her broken and lost, she sees herself in them and offers what once pulled her back into the light, the belief that healing is always possible.
