Avinash G Nair’s journey into entrepreneurship did not begin with a grand plan. It started quietly, shaped by curiosity and a need to build something of his own while growing up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. From an early age, he leaned toward creativity, often thinking about ideas that could turn into something tangible. That instinct stayed with him, long before he stepped into business.
His real shift came during his college years in 2011 while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications. A simple introduction to marketing through a senior opened up a new direction. Branding, communication, and business growth started to interest him deeply. It was less about theory and more about how ideas could turn into real results.
He soon co founded BOOM Cinemaz in Kochi, a film marketing venture that gave him his first taste of building something from scratch. It was messy, uncertain, and full of learning. That early exposure to the entertainment industry helped him understand how audiences think and how brands connect. The company is now being reworked and will return as Cinema Kompany, carrying a new identity but rooted in the same early ambition.
A turning point arrived in 2017 when he stepped into a role as a Business Development Executive. This phase shaped his thinking in a big way. He began blending sales with marketing, not treating them as separate functions. That combination became his personal strength. Over time, it allowed him to bring more clarity and revenue focus into business conversations, especially when working with clients across India and the Middle East.
In 2023, he founded eFoinix Solutions in Trivandrum. The company was built with a clear intention to make marketing and analytics accessible to growing businesses. Many startups and small companies struggle to find services that are both affordable and result driven. Avinash wanted to close that gap. His work focused on making sure marketing was not just about visibility but also about measurable growth.
“Build boldly, even when no one understands you, because in the end, what truly matters is not whether you won or lost, but that you had the courage to begin, the strength to continue, and the honesty to give it everything you had.”

What sets eFoinix apart is its belief that marketing must connect directly with revenue. Campaigns are not designed just to look good. They are meant to deliver outcomes that businesses can actually measure. The company is also stepping into online education, planning to share practical knowledge in marketing and analytics with people who want to learn by doing, not just reading.
His journey has not been smooth. One of the toughest phases came when eFoinix dropped to zero. Financial flow slowed down, client momentum stopped, and direction felt unclear. At the same time, he was dealing with challenges in his job. Instead of pushing harder in a broken state, he made a difficult choice. He paused the company for nearly three months, continuing only committed work while rethinking everything else.
That pause changed how he looked at business. He rebuilt the structure, refined his direction, and returned with more clarity. “Sometimes, stepping back and rebuilding from scratch is the most powerful way to move forward,” he says. The restart felt less like a continuation and more like a fresh beginning. Even now, he describes eFoinix as being in a rebirth phase, much like a phoenix finding its wings again.
Around the same time, a new chapter opened with ABM Innovations. Based in the UAE, the company focuses on AI driven work, market research, and healthcare related services. Avinash joined as a co founder and later took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer. At first, he was unsure about stepping into such a different space. The trust shown by his co founders played a big part in his decision. It pushed him to step up and take responsibility in a field that was new and demanding.
His first major client experience came from the edtech sector in Chennai. It was an opportunity that felt too big at that stage of his career. Instead of relying on complicated sales methods, he focused on building trust. He spent time understanding what clients actually needed and delivered consistently. Over time, clients started choosing to work with him not just because of the company he represented, but because they trusted him personally.
That trust became the foundation for early growth at eFoinix. It brought in clients across healthcare and real estate sectors in India and the UAE. At the same time, it revealed a challenge. The business was too dependent on his personal brand. Now, his focus is on building a stronger identity for the company itself, one that can stand on its own.
Behind all of this is a strong personal support system. His wife, Abhirami, has been a constant presence through every high and low. His father’s quiet belief kept him grounded, while his mother’s concerns made him pause, though deep down she always trusted his path. His brothers, along with colleagues and partners, have played both critics and supporters at different points. That mix of encouragement and pressure helped him stay balanced.

When it comes to team culture, he keeps things simple. He believes in giving people ownership rather than controlling every step. He prefers open conversations over rigid hierarchy. “I want people to work because they believe in what we are building, not because they are told to,” he says. That belief shapes how he leads and how he builds teams.
Professionally, he takes pride in working with a wide range of clients and mentoring startups across different ecosystems. Personally, what matters more is the act of trying. Taking risks, putting himself out there, and learning through both wins and losses gives him a sense of satisfaction that goes beyond titles or recognition.
His long term thinking is clear. He wants to build eFoinix into a trusted name while staying grounded in the values that shaped its early days. At the same time, he wants ABM Innovations to grow into a strong independent system that can function without relying on any one person.
For those starting out, his advice is simple and honest. “You tried. That matters more than anything else.”
