Antra and Aanchal Chandna- The Entrepreneurs of India Magazine

ree

For a while Antra tried to balance both her job and their growing page, but the growth stayed limited. It was their father who finally encouraged her to quit and take the leap of faith. From that decision, both sisters merged their strengths fully into the venture and soon after built their dream project, Manifest by TMN.

Manifest has already made a name for itself in Bengaluru as a hub for dance and content. In less than a year, the space has hosted artists from across the country, become a place for workshops, and developed a community around creativity. The sisters say this is only the beginning, as they want to create multiple brands and businesses in the future.

Their journey has not been without lessons. Choosing the right partner in business, they believe, is one of the most critical decisions. Complementary skills matter, but shared values and vision matter even more. They admit disagreements are natural, but they do not let small issues derail their goals. The sisters also live by the principle that your vibe attracts your tribe. The energy they set in their team reflects in how the team treats each other and the clients.

Family has played a central role in their courage. Their parents not only supported them but also motivated them to embrace different paths. “Whatever we are able to do is because of the strength they give us daily,” they say. They believe families can help budding entrepreneurs by creating open communication and sharing their wisdom in practical ways.

Starting Manifest was a risk as it was completely bootstrapped through their savings. The fixed costs were high, and they were unsure if they could sustain, but the universe, as they say, always showed them a way. They faced the challenge of instability in their industry and worked on building trust through community. They also realized not to depend on just one platform, so they spread their work across different mediums, both online and offline.

At its core, their business is about content and community. Twin Me Not continues to grow digitally, while Manifest by TMN offers a physical space for workshops, performances, events, and training. They run a wedding choreography unit, a corporate event team, and also teach in schools. Their newest venture is a podcast, With Love, Twin Me Not, where they talk about adulting, growing up, and life’s highs and lows in a relatable way.

They often remind people that running a business is not as glamorous as it looks. One person has to do ten jobs, especially at the start, and it can be a roller coaster. But for them, it has been worth it. The Chandna sisters are proof that when passion and persistence meet, even unconventional paths can turn into thriving businesses.
