Mobile Convenience

I was recently trying to help my uncle set up a few apps on his new phone, and it really hit me how much we take for granted. Things that seem obvious to me, like hidden hamburger menus or complex swipe gestures, just confused him. It made me realize that for an app to actually work for a huge, diverse group of people, it needs to be way more intuitive. What do you guys think are the must-have features that make a mobile service actually accessible and convenient for a massive, everyday audience?

Designing for a huge crowd is definitely a different ball game because you can't assume everyone has the latest flagship phone or a perfect data connection. I’ve noticed that the best services usually focus on really clear navigation and making sure the app doesn't hog too much memory. I actually found some cool insights on this while looking into https://economicweeklynews.org/why-indias-phone-first-entertainment-culture-keeps-raising-the-standard-for-apps/ because it shows how developers in huge markets have to prioritize speed and simplicity above everything else. My advice is to always look for apps that have an "offline mode" or low-data settings, as those are usually the ones built with a massive user base in mind.
